Description

Baseball Pro might look like a straightforward online baseball game at first glance, but after just one round, I realized it’s a realistic hitting and timing challenge wrapped up in slick arcade packaging. Developed by Code This Lab and playable straight in a web browser (even Safari), it’s the baseball game I didn’t know I needed.

Every Pitch Counts

I get exactly 10 pitches per round. That’s it. No warm-ups, no margin for error. Each time I swing and miss, it’s a strike, and I’ve just wasted a shot at a higher score. The controls couldn’t be simpler: I click, tap, or smash the spacebar to swing. It’s one-button play, but everything hinges on timing.

Home Runs or Bust

The farther the ball flies, the more points I score. A good hit might net me 80 – 90 points. A perfect one? That’s a home run and a massive bonus. There’s even a distance tracker showing how far I sent the ball sailing across the stadium. I’m not just swinging, I’m competing with myself, and whoever else wants the trophy. To be honest, it’s not easy to get 1000 points!

Practice = Power

With each round, I started noticing how crucial bat angle and reaction speed are. Watch the pitcher. Wait for the moment. Then crack, a clean hit feels ridiculously satisfying. It’s quick to play, tough to master, and surprisingly addictive. Plus, it runs flawlessly on mobile and desktop.
