Description

Launching a ball past a diving goalie and hearing it smack into the back of the net, that’s dopamine. 3D Free Kick captures that exact feeling and bottles it into a brilliant little free-kick soccer game that hits harder than it has any right to. Inspired by the FIFA World Cup 2018, this penalty shootout game drops you into a series of increasingly difficult free-kick scenarios, and dares you to come out on top.

Click, Drag, Score, Repeat

I started on an empty net, casually flicking shots into the goal with a simple click-and-drag. But soon, the pressure crept in, goalie defense, defensive walls, and jittery target circles dancing across the crossbar. With just three attempts per game, every kick mattered.

Using the game’s slick swipe mechanics, I could spin the ball in mid-air, bend it around walls, and aim for the elusive green point circles on the net’s edges. Hit the goal? 15 points. Nail a bonus zone? Even better. Miss three? Back to zero.

32 National Teams, Infinite Bragging Rights

You get to play as national teams, choosing from 32 countries, each shot adding to your point-based ranking. It’s not just about goals, it's about precision, flair, and watching the goalie’s movement before faking him out like you're Zidane in his prime.

Kick Smart, Not Just Hard

Sometimes the simplest shots are most effective. Other times, I’d arc the ball just over the wall and use mid-air spin to swerve it into a moving target. It’s this constant push-pull between strategy and instinct that kept me coming back.

3D Free Kick may be a browser game, but it plays like a pitch-perfect highlight reel, and high score tracking means I’ll be chasing that leaderboard for weeks.
